Abstract:
To provide a freshness keeping container capable of holding the freshness of perishable foods over a long period of time and capable of protecting perishable foods from staining or damage, ML and a method for pressing perishable foods.
A freshness keeping container is composed of a poly 4-methyl-1- pentene resin and consists of a flanged container main body 1 with oxygen gas permeability of 1000-50000 cc/m2.day.atm and a lid member 5 composed of a poly 4-methyl-1-pentene resin and having oxygen gas permeability of 1000-50000 cc/m2.day.atm. Perishable foods are preserved by putting perishable foods in the flanged container main body and heat-sealing the flange part of the container main body and the lid member.
