Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the above freshness retaining agent having excellent gas adsorptivity and heat resistance, by subjecting Na and Ag ions in a crystal structure of ceramics consisting of a far infrared ray emitting substance material to ion exchange. CONSTITUTION:Na and Ag ions in a crystal structure of ceramics consisting of about 85% alumina based ceramics consisting of a far infrared ray emitting substance material, such as Mg, Ca, Fe or Ni, and about 15% other materials are subjected to ion exchange and ionized Ag is bound into the skeletal structure through ionic bonds. The resultant ceramics are then converted into a powdery form to afford the aimed freshness retaining agent having 0.5-0.9mu particle diameter. The obtained freshness retaining agent is subsequently mixed in a film material and subjected to molding processing.
