Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of noise due to a Stick Slip without damaging transmission capacity as a belt even in a state that rust proofing painting does not yet scale off, in a V-ribbed belt to effect transmission of torque with the belt run around a V-ribbed pulley on which rust proofing painting is applied during delivery of an automobile from the factory.
SOLUTION: A surface activity layer 7 consisting of a surface active agent is formed on the surface of each of ribs 1a of a belt body 1.
