To provide a friction drive type trolley conveyor which realizes simplification, miniaturization, lightening, and a free arrangement layout of a friction driving means, achieves certain conveyance of a conveyed object, and can improve durability of trolley components.
The friction drive type trolley conveyor 10 comprises a pair of front and rear guide rollers 12a and 12a running on guide surfaces 11d and 11d in a hollow conveyance rail 11 along a conveying line, and a pair of right and left running wheels 12b and 12b running on running surfaces 11e and 11e. The friction drive type trolley conveyor has many conveying trolleys 12 that suspend the conveyed object W and move along a lower slit 11c of the hollow conveyance rail 11, a passive bar 13 for connection suspended between the conveying trolleys 12 in the hollow conveyance rail 11, and a friction driving means 15 for sliding the passive bar 13 by butting a friction roller 15a on an upper sliding surface 13a of the passive bar 13 from an upper slit 11b of the hollow conveyance rail 11.
