To provide travel stability when a friction driven conveying carriage crosses a passage having no travel guide.

A pair of front sub guided members 6 and 7 and rear sub guided members 8 and 9 are disposed in the front and rear sides of main guided members 4 and 5 disposed at two front and rear positions near the center of the conveying carriage 1. A rear sub guide rail 31 engaging with the rear sub guided members 8 and 9 is disposed on the upstream side of a travel route crossing passage 26 in which a main guide rail 14 engaging with the main guided members 4 and 5 is not disposed. A front sub guide rail 32 engaging with the front sub guided members 6 and 7 is disposed on the downstream side of the passage 26. When the conveying carriage 1 passes through the passage 26, at least two front and rear guided members of the guided members 4 to 9 are engaged with the guide rails 14, 31 and 32 on at least one of front and rear sides of the passage 26 or over the front and rear sides of the passage.
