To provide friction driving type conveyor facility capable of simplifying a facility mechanism using a compact and simplifed friction driving means having reduced weight in relative moving of a movable frame and a fixed frame switching the branching/joining of conveyance lines and reducing maintenance burden greatly.
This friction driving type trolley conveyor facility 10 is constituted in such a way that an upper part slide face 13a of a receiving bar 13 for connection stretched between conveyance devices such as a conveyance trolley 12 moving in a hollow conveyance rail 11 slides by a friction driving means 15 from an upper part slit 11b of the hollow conveyance rail 11 to convey a conveyance object W suspended from the conveyance trolley 12. The movable frame 17 and the fixed frame 18 incorporating the hollow conveyance rail 11 and the friction driving means 15 sliding the movable frame 17 are provided in a branching/joining area in a celing conveyance line, and the movable frame 17 moves relatively for the fixed frame 18 to switch the branching/joining of the ceiling conveyance lines.
