Abstract:
To provide a structure which is suppressed in the lowering of assembling performance while reducing a collision sound resulting from backlash occurring in a friction engagement device arranged at a power transmission device for a vehicle.SOLUTION: Since an interval between adjacent external peripheral spline teeth 68 in a rotation direction is narrowed as progressing toward a direction in which a disc 70 is fit at assembling in an axial line CL direction of the external peripheral spline teeth 68, backlash occurring between the disc 70 located at a first end in the direction in which the disc 70 is fit, and the external peripheral spline teeth 68 is reduced. By this constitution, in a state that a friction engagement part 58 is engaged, a collision sound which is generated when the backlash occurring between the disc 70 and the external peripheral spline teeth 68 is clogged at an opposite side is reduced by the changeover of an orientation of torque transmitted to a forward/backward clutch C1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
