Title:
FRICTION GEARING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007187275
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide friction gearing capable of effectively damping variation of torque in the rotating direction between a driving roller and a driven roller without increasing an axial length with a simple structure.

In this friction gearing having a cam pressing mechanism C (pressing mechanism) for pressing and bringing the driving roller 2 and the driven roller 3 rotatably supported by a device case 1, into contact with each other, and transmitting torque from one of the rollers 2, 3 to the other roller 3, 2 by frictional force generated on a contact portion, a piston damping mechanism Al (damping mechanism) acting on the displacement in the translation direction, is disposed on the driving roller 2 displaced in the translation direction vertical to a roller rotating shaft L to generate frictional force on the contact portion, of the driving roller 2 and the driven roller 3.
