Abstract:
To provide a friction material composition that has high frictional coefficients and excellent wear resistance even when containing no copper component or containing a reduced content of copper component.SOLUTION: A friction material composition has a non-fibrous titanate compound, mica, and a thermosetting resin. The mica has a volume-based 50% particle size (D50) of less than 10 μm. In the total content 100 mass% of the friction material composition, the content of copper component is less than 0.5 mass% as copper element.SELECTED DRAWING: None
