Abstract:
To keep a brake from squeaking for a prolonged time period without using any special type brake pad, and to facilitate the process of friction reducing agent application.
The friction reducing agent comprises microcapsules containing a specified lubricating agent and a binder for applying and attaching the microcapsules to a specified surface. The lubricating agent may be a mineral oil, a synthesized oil, and/or a lubricating grease, or the like. The binder may be a nonreaction type resin (solidifying upon solvent volatilization), such as gelatine, sodium alginate, a PVA (polyvinyl alcohol), an epoxy resin, an acrylic resin, a urethane resin, and a silicone resin, or may be a reaction type resin.
