Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide easily a friction ring capable of making perfectly contact with a conical surface of clutch or brake and functioning surely and without problem by improving friction ring and its manufacturing method even when the manufacturing accuracy of its parts is inferior.
CONSTITUTION: In a friction ring 21 for clutch or brake with a ring body having two concentric, cylindrical or conical friction planes retaining a friction lining 25, the ring body consists of at least two separate segments 28 capable of moving relatively each other.
