Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction roller transmission capable of supplying lubricating oil to a support bearing without causing the clogging of a lubricating oil passage and an increase in manufacturing cost while suppressing pump loss.SOLUTION: A friction roller transmission comprises: an input shaft 13; a sun roller 15; an annular roller 17; a plurality of intermediate rollers 19; and an output shaft. A housing 23 supports roller holders 55 holding ball bearings 67 and a main supply passage 73 is disposed in the housing 23. A lubricating oil injection portion 75 is interposed between an opening end 77 of the main supply passage 73 and the roller holders 55 and injects and supplies lubricating oil toward the intermediate rollers 19. The intermediate rollers 19 each include: an axial supply passage 81 open to face the lubricating oil injection portion 75 and formed along a rotation shaft 53; and at least a pair of branch supply passages 85 formed to be branched radially outward from halfway along the axial supply passage 81.
