Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit backlash of balls included in a loading mechanism at a friction roller type reduction gear including the loading mechanism using a ball cam.SOLUTION: A loading device 7 used in a friction roller type reduction gear includes: a first sun roller 4a which is attached to an input shaft of the friction roller type reduction gear and may move relative to an axial direction of the input shaft; multiple first cam grooves 17 provided on an end surface of the first sun roller 4a; a cam plate 15 which is attached to the input shaft facing the first cam groove 17 side of the first sun roller 4a; multiple second cam grooves 18 provided on a surface of the cam plate 15 which faces the first cam grooves 17; balls 16 provided between the first cam grooves 17 and the second cam grooves 18; and a holder 20 which holds the balls 16 so that the balls roll, the holder 20 where a pitch diameter of a position for holding the ball 16 is different from pitch diameters of the first cam groove 17 and the second cam groove 18.
