Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction roller type reduction gear reduced in friction loss on each of rolling contact portions, and capable of preventing abrasion due to sliding on an engagement portion of a connection portion of an output shaft with a ring roller.SOLUTION: A friction roller reduction gear 100 includes a sun roller 15 disposed coaxially with an input shaft 11, a ring roller 17 having a fixed ring roller element 27 and a movable ring roller element 29, a plurality of intermediate rollers 19 kept into contact with an outer peripheral face of the sun roller 15 and an inner peripheral face of the ring roller 17 while rolling, a connection portion 21 for connecting the ring roller 17 and an output shaft 13, and a loading cam mechanism 23 having a cam ring 49 and changing contact face pressure of each rolling contact face. A roller holding portion 39 of the connection portion 21 is provided with a recessed groove 43 formed along an axial direction on its inner peripheral portion, and projections 28, 61 engaged with the recessed groove, are formed on outer peripheral portions of remaining members excluding the movable ring roller element 29 among the pair of ring roller elements 27, 29 and the cam ring 49.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
