Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction roller type speed reducer capable of properly cooling a traction surface, and obtaining a stable speed reduction characteristic.SOLUTION: A friction roller type speed reducer 100 includes a sun roller 13, a ring roller 15, a plurality of intermediate rollers 17, a connection member 23 and a loading cam mechanism 20. The ring roller 15 includes: a concave traction surface 45 that is formed on a ring roller inner peripheral surface, and inclined in a direction that an inner diameter increases toward a center part in an axial direction; and a hole 49 that is a traction oil discharge part provided so as to penetrate a ring roller outer diameter surface from a bottom part of the concave traction surface 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
