Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction roller type transmission capable performing a smooth adjustment of contact surface pressure of each of rollers without producing any excessive stress at a power transmission part, even if a sun shaft has a small diameter and a key or spline cannot be formed under strength of a necessary and sufficient condition.SOLUTION: A friction roller type transmission 100 comprises: an input shaft 11; a sun roller 13; an annular roller 15; a plurality of intermediate rollers 17 contacted in rolling between an outer circumferential surface of the sun roller and an inner circumferential surface of the annular roller; an output shaft 19 connected to the annular roller; and a loading cam mechanism 20 for changing a contact surface pressure between the sun roller and the intermediate roller. The input shaft has a screw part 60 at the outer circumferential surface at the extremity end rather than an axial area where the sun roller and the cam ring 65 are arranged. Further, there is provided a fastening member 59 threadably engaged with the screw part to apply an axial fastening force to the cam ring and stopping rotation of the cam ring against the input shaft.
