Abstract:
To provide a friction stir welding attachment, a friction stir welding head and a friction stir welding device which can obtain a sufficient torque when a welding tool is driven by an air motor.SOLUTION: A friction stir welding attachment 10 includes a body 11 mounted on a main spindle supported on a main spindle head of a machine tool, a working spindle 14 that is rotatably supported on the body 11 and can mount a welding tool 20, a plurality of air motors 151 and 152 installed in the body 11, and a transmission mechanism 153 for transmitting rotation of the plurality of air motors 151 and 152 to the working spindle 14. A fixing part 16 is mounted so as to supply external air to the plurality of air motors 151 and 152, and a drive air distributor 154 for distributing drive air to the air motors 151 and 152 is installed. A rotation detector 155 for detecting a rotation state is installed in the working spindle 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
