Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction stir welding device capable of corresponding a change in the sheet thickness of workpieces and welding well without poor fusion.
SOLUTION: In the friction stir welding device for heating and stirring the welding part of a workpiece W with a bobbin tool 50 and welding without fusion, the bobbin tool 50 has the front and the back shoulder parts 51 and 52, which are heated by friction heating by contacting on the front and the back surfaces of the workpiece W, a main shaft 40 having an inner shaft 41 and an outer shaft 42, which are connected to a driving resource and joined together with a spline joint part 43 in the same axis line. The friction stir welding device is constructed by connecting the front shoulder part 51 to the outer shaft 42 and connecting the back shoulder part 52 to the inner shaft 41, and pushing the front shoulder part 51 to the surface and pressing, and drawing the back shoulder part 52 to the back surface for pressing.
