Abstract:

To suppress adhesive wear of a friction transmission surface in belt travel, and to obtain excellent noise suppression effect during wetting for long periods.

In a V-ribbed belt B in which at least a pulley contact part of a belt body 10 is formed of rubber composition, the pulley contact part of the belt body 10 is provided with a lubrication film 16 composed by blending graphite 16a with a binder resin 16b for holding it to the pulley contact part, a mixture of a silicon resin and an acrylic resin is employed as the binder resin 16b, and a content ratio between the binder resin 16b and the graphite 16a in the lubrication film 16 is set to 5 to 80 pts.wt. of graphite with respect to 100 pts.wt. of binder resin.
