Abstract:
To provide a friction transmission device capable of improving the degree of freedom in selecting a motor.SOLUTION: A friction transmission device 100 comprises: an input shaft 64 to which the rotation of a drive source is input; an input bearing ring 14 that rotates integrally with the input shaft 64; a planetary rolling element 20 that is arranged around a rotational axial line of the input bearing ring 14; and an output bearing ring 30 that is in contact with the planetary rolling element 20, and is connected to an output member 32. A speed ratio control mechanism 6 that moves the input bearing ring 14 in an axial direction is provided at a position offset in a radial direction with respect to an axial center of the input shaft 64.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
