Title:
FRICTION TYPE SEISMIC TIE FOR VIBRATION CONTROL OVER BOILER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014156964
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic tie for increasing absorption performance for vibrational energy of a boiler main body and reducing any seismic load acting on a supporting frame.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a friction type seismic tie for vibration control over a boiler by connecting a supporting frame comprised of steel frame chimneys with a boiler main body suspended from steel frame beams and supported by them to absorb seismic vibrational energy. It has a structure in which a pair of links comprised of friction dampers and two rigidity pins rotatably connected to the pair of links are connected by hinges. A frictional damper 31 comprises a middle plate 42, aluminum plates 45 arranged at both sides of the middle plate and fastening bolts for use in generating frictional force to the middle plate 42 and the aluminum plate 45 that are relatively displaced from each other through seismic vibration. Each of the two rigidity pins is connected to the supporting frame and the boiler main body. The middle plate 42 of the frictional damper is provided with long holes 47 into which fastening bolts for generating frictional force are inserted. The long holes 47 allow the middle plate 42 and the aluminum plate 45 to be relatively displaced to each other.
