Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform electrostatic sorting with high accuracy and also to reduce the mixing ratio of materials to be sorted to shorten the sorting time by electrifying the materials to be sorted with preliminary friction and also uniformly electrifying them again with friction before electrostatically sorting the materials to be sorted.
CONSTITUTION: A preliminary triboelectrification device 1 consists of a transporting device 10. Its inner wall is lined with a material for accelerating the electrification of the materials to be sorted contg. synthetic resin, and while it previously electrifies the materials to be sorted during transportation, it transports them. A triboelectrification device 2 consists of a reciprocating frictional device 20. Its inner wall is lined with an electrifying material suitable for electrifying the materials to be sorted. Further, by a feeder 3 consisting of a feed roller 30, the materials to be sorted electrified by the triboelectrification device 2 is fed. By an electrostatic sorting device 4 consisting of a rotary electrode 40, the magnetrostatic field is given to the electrified materials to be sorted fed by the feeder 2, and the materials to be sorted are sorted according to their electrified state. In this way, electrostatic sorting with high accuracy is performed and also the sorting time is shortened.
