A friction washer 18 as a frictional plate adapted to a clutch disc for a vehicle is made of polyphenylene sulfide in which at least charging material of glass fibers 18A is blended. The friction washer 18 is so formed that, by injection molding, for instance, it has a skin layer S in which a little charging materials are contained, a lower layer P in which the glass fibers 18A of the charging materials are blended parallelly to a sliding surface C, and a lower layer R in which the glass fibers 18A are oriented at rondam. The skin layer S is removed by polishing or cutting after molding, for enlarging an initial frictional factor.
