To provide a frictional resistance reduction device for a vessel that maintains main engine efficiency by suitably supplying exhaust gas to a supercharger, controls a jetting state of gas jetting to a portion near a hull in particular by using bypass gas and restricts diffusion of air bubbles near a bottom without becoming an obstacle to an operation of the vessel.
A frictional resistance reduction device for a vessel includes: a supercharger 11 supplying gas jetting to a portion near a hull under a draft line of the vessel; a gas jetting port 40 jetting gas; a navigation state detection part 500 detecting a navigation state of the vessel under water; and a control device 200 controlling a jetting state of the gas supplied from the supercharger 11 in accordance with a detection result of the navigation state detection part 500. The navigation state detection part 500 is installed in a place that is not affected by the jetted gas.
