Abstract:

To suppress abnormal noise generated by friction between a torque transmitting member composed of an elastic member and an inner ring in a frictional torque limiter having the inner ring formed of a porous material such as a sintered metal which is impregnated with lubricating oil.

In the frictional torque limiter comprising an outer annular member, the inner ring relatively rotatably fitted to the inside thereof, and the torque transmitting member such as a coil spring interposed between the inner ring and the outer annular member and installed with a fastening margin to the inner ring, the friction part with at least torque transmitting member of the inner ring is formed of the porous material, and the surface roughness of the porous material is set to Ry 2 to 4 μm.
