Title:
FRIT FOR STEEL SHEET ENAMELING HAVING REDUCED ELUTION AMOUNT OF BORON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008050232
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a frit with which the concentration of boron in a slip supernatant waste liquid can be easily controlled to a regulated value or below, and exhaust cost can be reduced.

Regarding the opal cover coat frit for steel sheet enameling, the elution amount of boron into slip is reduced, and firing is performed at 760 to 860C. The content of B2O3 in the frit is preferably 0.1 to 10 mol%. The content of SiO2 in the frit is preferably controlled to 41 to 58 mol%, and the content of TiO2 in the frit is preferably controlled to 15 to 21 mol%.
