Abstract:
A front-back reversing device (40) includes: an upstream reversing unit (42) that turns a paper sheet such that a part of the paper sheet in the width direction thereof is displaced by about 90 degrees relative to a prescribed transport direction while transporting the paper sheet in the transport direction; and a downstream reversing unit (80) that can reverse the front and back of the entire paper sheet by receiving the part of the paper sheet in the width direction that has been displaced by about 90 degrees by the upstream reversing unit (42), and turning the paper sheet such that the received part is displaced by about 90 degrees relative to the transport direction while transporting, in the transport direction, the paper sheet sent from the upstream reversing unit (42).
