Abstract:
To enable reduction of work hours of processing and improvement of strength and precision of a connection part for extracting power when the connection part is provided at a front cover.SOLUTION: A front cover assembly 2 transmits input power to a torque converter body 3. The front cover assembly 2 includes a front cover body 10 and a hub 20. The front cover body 10 is formed into a discoid shape and has an inner cylindrical part 12, which is closed at one side, at its center part. The hub 20 is formed into a cylindrical shape. A knurled part 21 is formed in at least a part of an outer peripheral surface and a spline hole 23 for extracting power is provided on an inner peripheral surface in the hub 20. The knurled part 21 is press-fitted into the inner cylindrical part 12 of the front cover body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
