The front cover for the file includes a pair of front covers, a spine mutually connecting one-side edges of both the front covers, a bent piece extended from the side edge opposite to the one side edge in each front cover in a bendable manner, and a closing piece provided on each bent piece which is extended from the root on the front cover inner surface side of the bent piece in a bendable manner. Each bent piece is composed of a front cover outer surface-side bent piece connected to the front cover through a hinge, and a front cover inner surface-side bent piece stuck to the front cover inner surface side of the front cover outer surface-side bent piece which is connected to the closing portion through a hinge. Each closing piece has a width substantially equal to the width of the spine, one of the closing pieces has a locking male portion, and the other closing piece has a locking female portion.
