Abstract:

To reduce a weight by reducing the number of parts and a product cost by utilizing a same configuration to develop damping force according to an extension position and develop a specified oil lock effect.

This front fork comprises an oil lock piece 7 interposed on the outer periphery of a partition wall body 6 vertically moving in a tube body 5 erected on the core part of a wheel side tube 1 and an oil lock case 8 forming an oil lock chamber R between the partition wall body 6 and the oil lock piece 7 advancing when the partition wall body lowers to the lowest position in the tube body 5. The tube body 5 comprises a plurality of communication holes 5a allowing a communication between a reservoir chamber R1 and the inside of the tube body 5 while forming the reservoir chamber R1 between the tube body 5 and the wheel side tube 1. The plurality of communication holes 5a in the vertical direction are closed in order by the partition wall body 6 lowering in the tube body 5, and the lower end part of the tube body 5 is formed in the oil lock case 8.
