To provide a front fork providing high steerability by separating left and right front fork members from each other for simplification, increasing the compression side damping force, and increasing the responsiveness to the damping force in the extension.
This front fork 1 comprises the pair of left and right front form members 11, 12 fitted to the front wheel of a motorcycle and connected to each other through a bracket 13. A first damping mechanism capable of adjusting mainly the compression side damping force generated in one front fork member 11 is installed in one front fork member 11. A second damping mechanism different in structure from the first damping mechanism and capable of adjusting mainly the tension side damping force generated in the other front fork member 12 is installed in the other front fork member 12.
