Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork capable of obtaining a secondary damping force even when comprising an upright-type damper.SOLUTION: A front fork includes: a damper D which is disposed in a telescopic tube member T having an outer tube 2 and an inner tube 3, which has a cylinder C and a rod R movably inserted in the cylinder C, which exhibits a damping force when the front fork is contracted or extended, and in which the cylinder C is connected to the inner tube 3 and the rod R is connected to the outer tube 2; liquid stored between the damper D and the tube member T; a suspension spring S which energizes the outer tube 2 and the inner tube 3 in a separating direction; and a rod side suspension spring receiver 7 attached to the outer periphery of the rod R to support one end of the suspension spring S, and having a damping passage 70 in which the liquid flows when the damper D is contracted or extended to give resistance to the flow of the liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
