Abstract:
To provide a front fork capable of easily tuning attenuation force and reducing increase of costs.SOLUTION: A front fork F includes: a cylinder 3 disposed in a wheel-side outer tube 1; a piston portion 21 disposed in a car body-body side inner tube 2 and dividing a part between the cylinder and the outer tube into an extension-side chamber L1 and a pressure-side chamber l2; and a valve case 4 fixed to the cylinder 3, and dividing a reservoir chamber R on an upper side of the cylinder 3 and a cylinder inner chamber I communicated to the pressure-side chamber L2 inside the cylinder 3. The valve case 4 is provided with an extension-side attenuation valve 40 for opening and closing an extension-side passage 4b communicating the extension-side chamber L1 and the cylinder inner chamber I, a pressure-side attenuation valve 41 for opening and closing a passage 4c communicating the reservoir chamber R and the cylinder inner chamber I, and an extension-side check valve 42 permitting flowing of liquid from the reservoir chamber R toward the cylinder inner chamber I.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
