PURPOSE: To provide front glass for a refrigerated show case having a double glass plate structure with which high heat insulating and dew-proof properties are assured by a simple construction.

CONSTITUTION: The front glass is formed by superposing two sheets of transparent glass plates 8 on each other across a band-shaped heat insulating spacer 9 along the peripheral edges thereof. This heat insulating spacer 9 is composed of a sealing member 15 having a dehumidifying function prepd. by dispersing a desiccant into a porous elastic base material and a corrugated aluminum sheet (spacing holding member) 14 superposed in a sandwich form on this sealing member.
