Abstract:
To provide a front and rear top-bottom registration system in a two-sided printer which can register front and rear sides while suppressing spoilage.SOLUTION: A front and rear top-bottom registration system comprises: a front printing unit 1; a rear printing unit 3 which performs printing on a paper sheet printed by the front printing unit 1; an inversion unit 2 which inverts the paper sheet printed by the front printing unit 1 such that the top-bottom direction becomes opposite and delivers the paper sheet to the rear printing unit 3; and a control unit S which controls driving of the front printing unit 1, the rear printing unit 3 and the inversion unit 2. The control unit S comprises adjustment means 24 which adjusts the printing phase in the top-bottom direction of the front printing unit 1 and the rear printing unit 3 on the basis of a difference in sizes by comparing the reference size in the top-bottom direction of the paper sheet with the actual size in the top-bottom direction of the paper sheet before printing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
