PURPOSE: To provide a front subframe structure for sufficiently increasing the rigidity of a ceiling part of a subframe upper bracket, as well as the mounting intensity of a pivot shaft collar.

CONSTITUTION: For a front subframe structure, a box-like subframe upper bracket 3 is provided on both end parts 2a of a subframe cross member 2, and a pivot shaft collar 4 is inserted into the subframe upper bracket 3, while a front suspension upper arm 5 is supported by the pivot shaft collar 4 so that the arm can be rotated freely. The both end parts 2a of the subframe cross member 2 are welded to a ceiling part 3a of the subframe upper bracket 3, while the subframe cross member 2 is penetrated by the pivot shaft collar 4, both of which are welded to one another.
