This front suspension device is composed of a support member 11 integrally installed on a wheel support member so as to rotate together with the wheel support member 3, a rotary body case 15 integrally supported by this support member, a shock absorbing operation rod 17 having the lower end part side vertically movably fitted to and inserted into this rotary body case and having a nut member 18 in a projecting upper end part, a torque transmitting spring 19 wound on this shock absorbing operation rod, having a lower end part fixed to the upper end part side of the rotary body case and an upper end part fixed to the nut member side, and a bolt member 20 always threadedly engaging with the nut member rotating in the same direction as the wheel support member by force of the torque transmitting spring and fixed to a car body.
