Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front suspension system for an electric wheelchair.SOLUTION: One end of a front wheel frame 50 is pivotally coupled to a front pivot shaft 40 of a frame, the other end thereof is coupled to a front wheel 21. Arranging a front shock absorber 70 on a horizontal first section 52 of the front wheel frame 50 can improve upward pivoting capability of the front wheel frame 50, which consequently improves the climbing capability of the front wheels by a raised bearing surface G. One end of an elasticity resistance member 60 bored in the front pivot shaft 40 is coupled to interlock with the front wheel frame 50, and the other end thereof is abutted on an abutting member 25 of the frame. When the front wheels 21 encounter the bearing surface G and makes the front wheel frame 50 pivot simultaneously, the elasticity resistance member 60 is compressed to produce a reaction force toward the front wheel frame 50. Thereby, the resistance force is generated in the opposite direction when the front wheels 21 are swung on a road surface to prevent the entire frame from excessively tipping and tipping forward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
