The method for producing the frozen dessert for companion animals comprises adding to water sterile total fat soy flour having the number of ≥300/g of live bacteria and comprising at least one kind selected from sterile total fat total enzyme deactivated soy flour, sterile total fat half enzyme deactivated soy flour and sterile total fat raw soy flour, dietary fiber, sugar, thickening polysaccharides, and an emulsifier, mixing and kneading the product, and cooling or freezing the product.
