Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FRP-made double-shell tank which can be produced through a small number of manufacturing processes with good workability and with improved productivity.
SOLUTION: An inner shell 8 made of a reinforced plastic is molded and a film on one face of which a number of particles 10 are bonded at certain intervals is covered on the inner shell 8 while the particles 10 face to the inner shell 8 and an outer shell 9 made of a reinforced plastic is provided on another face of the film 11 covering the inner shell 8. It is possible by this method to easily form an inspection space 22 for inspecting dangerous substance between the inner shell 8 and the outer shell 9 by means of the gaps among the particles 10 only by covering the inner shell 8 with the film 11.
