Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle a treated scrapped boat as effective resources, by removing unnecessary parts from the scrapped boat moored or left at a harbor, applying a carbonization activation treatment to an FRP part, and applying an activation treatment to a carbon surface of the FRP scrapped boat.
SOLUTION: After unnecessary parts such as fuel and a metal component part are separated and removed from a FRP scrapped boat moored or left at a harbor for example, the boat is put in a carbonization activation furnace F using a loading/unloading device such as a crane. Next, air heated by an air heating device A is introduced to the carbonization activation furnace F of the FRP scrapped boat, and a part of a resin portion of the FRP scrapped boat is partially oxidized and melted. Next, by supplying air and fuel to an inert gas producing device ING and carrying out combustion, an inert gas is circulated to the carbonization activation furnace F thereby performing a carbonization treatment of the resin portion of the FRP scrapped boat. Finally, a steam generated by a steam generating device W is supplied to the carbonization activation furnace F and inert gas is generated, thereby activating a carbon surface of the resin by means of an activation treatment.
