PURPOSE: To lighten the burden of a conveyor by connecting the starting and terminal edges of the feeding and discharge conveyors installed at the upper and lower positions by a reversal passage constituted of circular inner and outer peripheral conveyors, in a feeding apparatus for the fruit accommodated in a container into a selecting apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: A container 1 on a feeding conveyor 4 is fed into a reversal passage 7. In said reversal passage 7, the container is shifted towards a discharge conveyor 5, with the bottom surface supported by an inner peripheral conveyor 2 and the opened port supported by an outer peripheral conveyor 3. In the reversal passage 7, the container is supported by the outer peripheral conveyor 3, and the opened port is not opened. When the container 1 is transferred onto a discharge conveyor 5, the opened port is opened, and fruit is discharged onto a selecting apparatus 6. With such constitution, the burden of the conveyor can be lightened.
