Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fryer enabled to receive a proper amount of cooking oil in an oil tank with reference to the position of a heating part of a heater unit.SOLUTION: A fryer 10 comprises: an oil tank 14 for accommodating cooking oil CO; and a heater unit 16 for heating said cooking oil CO by a transverse portion 58 dipped in the cooling oil CO accommodated in the oil tank 14. The heater unit 16 is equipped with an oil amount display mark G displaying a proper amount of cooking oil CO accommodated in the oil tank 14 at a position over the transverse portion 58. The oil amount display mark G is disposed on a first mounting cradle 76 extending to the transverse portion 58 and mounted removably on a longitudinal portion 56 extending upward from the transverse portion 58. The first mounting cradle 76 holds oil temperature detection means 74 in temperature control means.
