Abstract:
To provide a method for detecting rs9939609 of FTO gene polymorphism by specifying an effective probe for detecting rs9939609 of FTO gene polymorphism, and to provide a kit therefor.
There is provided a probe for detecting polymorphism of FTO gene, which comprises an oligonucleotide comprising a base sequence of 10-65 base length containing base numbers 401-410 of a specific base sequence, and having homology to a specific base sequence except that the base corresponding to the 410th base is cytosine, wherein the base corresponding to the base number 410 is labeled with a fluorochrome.
