Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a fuel additive which enhances the combustibility of char, thus improving the combustibility of a fuel and greatly reducing soot in a combustion exhaust gas, and to obtain a fuel contg. the same.
CONSTITUTION: This fuel additive is a mixture comprising a copper compd. and a rare earth element compd. in a wt. ratio of copper to a rare earth element of 0.2-5. A fuel is prepd. by mixing a hydrocarbon fuel or a carbonaceous fuel with a copper compd. and a rare earth element compd. in a wt. ratio of copper to a rare earth element of 0.2-5.
