To provide a manufacturing method of a fuel cell capable of eliminating or reducing man-hour for removing burrs of an adhesive agent, eliminating or restraining damage of a separator, and to provide a manufacturing jig.
(1) The fuel cell is manufactured by controlling an amount and direction of the adhesive agent 33 overflowing from an edge part 18a of the separator 18 by the jig 40 having an opposing face 41 facing the edge part of the separator, during a cell assembly manufacturing process. (2) A guiding part extending along the edge part of the separator is arranged partially to the jig. (3) The jig 40 for manufacturing the fuel cell has an opposing face 41 facing the edge part of the separator, and a distance between the face 41 and the edge part of the separator is set within a distance allowing the overflow of the adhesive agent. (4) The guiding part, partially formed in the direction in which, the edge part 18a of the separator 18 extends, is arranged at the manufacturing jig.
