Title:
FUEL CELL POWER GENERATING EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3432575
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To limit an equipment arranged to secure safety to a necessary minimum design, and reduce construction cost by keeping a space, in which an apparatus and piping to treat combustible gas are arranged, under pressure lower than atmopspheric pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Ventilating air is sucked in from an air intake port 4, and after passing through an incombustible gas area 2, it passes through a combustible gas area (a space in which an apparatus and piping to treat combustible gas are arranged) 1 through an opening part 3, and is discharged from an exhaust port 5. Since only an exhaust fan 6 exists as a ventilating fan and a pressure fan is not arranged at the air intake port 4, when the fan 6 is operated, the area 1 is put under pressure slightly lower than atmospheric pressure. On the other hand, since the other spaces 7 and 8 partitioned by a partition wall and the outdoors 9 are put under atmospheric pressure, if combustible gas is leaked out to the area 1, it is not diffused to a part except this area 1. Since the pressure fan is not arranged in this way, motive power and equipment cost necessary for ventilation can be reduced.
