Abstract:
To make it possible to set a range of the elastic constant of a collector within an optimum range that is used for electrically connecting fuel cells to each other arranged in a gas manifold.
The spring constant of a collector member 9 sandwitched between a cell and a cell pressing member 16 is made to be higher than that of a collector member 9 sandwitched between both cells. As a result, the fuel cells under operation are always pressed inward to prevent deformation being caused in such a way that they are opened outwardly from their center portion in the arrangement direction, thereby making connection between each collector 9 and fuel cell strong.
