Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life evaluation method of a fuel cell stack capable of predicting the life of a fuel cell stack.SOLUTION: A life evaluation method of a fuel cell stack has following steps. A stress at the time of fastening is determined for a fastening part and a fastened part. A stress due to thermal expansion caused by the temperature difference of the temperature at the time of fastening and the temperature at the time of operation is determined for the fastening part and fastened part. By using the stress at the time of fastening and the stress due to thermal expansion, a stress at the time of operation start is determined. By using the stress at the time of operation start, a stress during operation is determined for the fastening part and fastened part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
