Abstract:

To surely prevent an electrolyte-electrode structure to be endowed with shearing force from a metal separator with a simple and economical structure.

The fuel cell stack 10 is structured of a first power generation unit 12a and a second power generation unit 12b alternatively laminated along a horizontal direction. The first power generation unit 12a is provided with a first fuel gas flow channel 36, a first oxidant gas flow channel 50, a second fuel gas flow channel 58 and a second oxidant gas flow channel 66, and those are set in the same phase with each other along the lamination direction. The second power generation unit 12b is provided with the first fuel gas flow channel 36, the first oxidant gas flow channel 50, the second fuel gas flow channel 58 and the second oxidant gas flow channel 66 set in the same phase with each other along the lamination direction, and at the same time, are set in the different phase from the first power generation unit 12a.
